Admission information

Hours	8:30am-5:00pm　[Last admission 4:50p.m.]
Admission	Garden only: High school students and older: ¥500 Elementary and middle school students: ¥300 Preschool children: Free
	Tenryu-ji Garden and Buildings: Admission fees are the same as above, plus ¥300 Tenryuji's buildings are occasionally closed without notice for special ceremonies and other activities. Scheduled closings for 2026 are : April 1th pm(from 12:30), October 29,30th
	Special Admission to the Cloud-Dragon Painting in the Hatto (Dharma Hall): ¥500. Please note that the Dharma Hall admission fee is separate from that for Tenryu-ji's garden and buildings. The Dharma Hall is open on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays only, and during specially designated periods during the spring and autumn. ーThe Hatto (where the Cloud Dragon is located) is closed to the public on October 28-30, January 2th 2027.
Ticket Offices	Tickets are sold at (1) the garden entrance; (2) the main building entrance; and (3) the north gate entrance (not shown)

By Train	Keifuku Dentetsu Arashiyama Line Get off at Arashiyama Station, walk 5 minutes to Tenryu-ji
	JR Sagano Line Get off at Saga-Arashiyama Line, walk 13 minutes to Tenryu-ji
	Hankyu Line Get off at Arashiyama Station, walk 15 minutes to Tenryu-ji
By Bus	Shi Bus Line Take bus numbers 11, 28, or 93 and get off at the Arashiyama Tenryu-ji Mae bus stop
By Bus	Kyoto Bus Line Take bus numbers 61, 72, or 83 and get off at the Arashiyama Tenryu-ji Mae bus stop
