Fee There is no charge for individual participants.
No appointment is required; beginners are welcome.

Shakyo (Hand-copying of sutras)

Shakyo
Time Anyone wishing to hand-copy sutras may telephone Tenryu-ji to make an appointment. You may arrive at any time between 9:30 and 14:30. Sutra copying ends at 16:30.
Fee ¥1,800 (includes Tenryu-ji admission fee and materials for sutra copying)
