Tenryu-ji Zazen-kai

Tenryu-ji Zazen-kai
Time 9:00-10:00am, second Sunday of every month except February. In July and August the regular meetings are replaced by the Gyoten Koza (Early Morning Lecture), held 6:00-8:00am on the final Saturday and Sunday of July.
Fee There is no charge for individual participants.
No appointment is required; beginners are welcome.

Shakyo (Hand-copying of sutras)

Shakyo
Time Anyone wishing to hand-copy sutras may telephone Tenryu-ji to make an appointment. You may arrive at any time between 9:00 and 15:00. (9:00 and 14:30, 21 October to 20 March). Sutra copying ends at 17:00. (16:30, 21 October to 20 March).
Fee ¥1,800 (includes Tenryu-ji admission fee and materials for sutra copying)
